Aging vision (Presbyopia)

If your eyes will no longer accommodate

Aging vision occurs when the movability of the eye’s lens diminishes: Your eyes gradually lose its ability to adjust their focus to different distances (accommodation). As the rays pass through the cornea and the lens, they are insufficiently bended so that they reach your retina before the collection and refraction process is completed into a focussed spot: The image remains blurred.

Treatment: With PresbyMAX from SCHWIND, near vision of presbyopic patients even with additional visual defects is significantly improved and sharp vision without spectacles becomes possible.
